About Me
Eric Hoskins is a highly experienced psychotherapist, relationship counsellor, and family therapist with over fifteen years of practice. Specializing in trauma recovery, Eric is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training (CIT), dedicated to integrating EMDR therapy into trauma-informed care. He has successfully used EMDR to treat a wide range of clients, including individuals recovering from trauma, addiction, and relational betrayal. In his current role with the Cayman Islands Department of Counselling Services, Eric, as a CIT is the in-house EMDR Consultant, guiding and mentoring therapists in their journey toward EMDRIA certification. He actively supports clinicians in refining their EMDR skills, offering supervision and training to improve therapeutic outcomes. Eric is passionate about expanding the use of EMDR in clinical settings, fostering a community of skilled practitioners who are equipped to provide high-quality, trauma-focused care. As a Consultant-in-Training, Eric provides consultation services to EMDR therapists, helping them navigate the certification process and deepen their expertise.
