About Me
As a therapist I work to create a safe, empathetic, judgment-free and welcoming space for you to process difficult experiences, life transitions and gain insight. While I have been a counselor for 5 years, I have been working with trauma survivors and building on that knowledge for over 10 years. My foundation as a therapist was built on advocacy work with survivors of sexual violence. I have also worked on several college campuses with students as they manage life transitions and stressors. Since becoming trained in EMDR I have become more specialized in working with complex medical and sexual trauma in addition to working greatly with childhood trauma and domestic violence.
