About Me

I am a trauma therapist with over 15 years of experience. My pathway into the field of psychotherapy comes from my own resiliency story from the wake of trauma, which is why I firmly believe in the words of Peter Levine "trauma is a fact of life, but it does not have to be a life sentence". The unique magic I bring to the therapy room shows up in the modalities I've been trained in. I am nationally certified as a Registered Art Therapist. My initial graduate training in Art Therapy also provided the foundation of Depth Psychology in my work such as Transpersonal Psychology and Jungian Psychology. My work these days uses more somatic modalities such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (I have completed Level 1 through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute) and Somatic Experiencing (I am currently enrolled in the 3-year training program through Somatic Experiencing International). I am also trained in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy from Naropa University, I offer psychedelic preparation and integration for those interested and able to participate in psychedelic medicine work. Doing true trauma healing with depth is long and hard, which is why most people don't do it. Trauma therapy is where we get real with ourselves, let our defenses melt, and confront the ghosts that haunt us by taking accountability for how trauma has skewed the way we relate to ourselves and the communities around us, and therefore radically changing how we show up for ourselves and others in the world.

Education & Experience

I graduated from Naropa University in 2016 with a Masters degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy. I have worked in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. I work predominantly with women and LGBTQIA2+ people. Many people who benefit from my work have histories of Childhood Sexual Abuse, childhood physical abuse, childhood neglect, DV, sexual assault, sex work, life transitions, discrimination, LGBTQIA2S+ and/or BIPOC minority stress and identity issues, and religious trauma. I work with people committed to the hard process of growth and change, many of those people are fellow therapists, health care workers, executives, professionals, business owners, creatives, and people who identify as neurodivergent. I also work with students, activists, tech workers, people trying to get their life back on track, people finding deeper meaning in their midlife transition, and folx riding the rocky change of their Saturn Return.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am a PRISM mental health provider for LGBTQIA2S+ identified people in Colorado.
