EMDR Certified Therapist

About Me

The people I most often find myself working with are queer young adults and teens who are navigating life stressors while forming their identities. I’m trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and often use this approach while supporting clients healing from childhood & other interpersonal traumatic experiences. I also assist clients in their processing of other aspects of identity including family, ethnicity, faith, and spirituality. I am very passionate about working with people who are in the LGBTQ+ community, people of faith, and additionally, those with post traumatic stress symptoms. I have experience working with various forms of traumatic dissociation and assisting with increased sense of self through the use of ego state therapies. Treatment Areas and Competencies: Teen therapy, Trauma Processing, Faith and Spirituality, Sexuality and Gender, Relationship Challenges, Emotion Regulation, Sexual Trauma, and Exposure to Violence. My goal is always to walk with my clients to find freedom, fulfillment, and a connected sense of self. I offer a free 15-minute consultations during which we can talk about therapy and see what would be the best fit for you.
