About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and purpose. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults facing emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties, and I have extensive experience helping individuals heal from significant trauma. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, while emphasizing compassion, accountability, and meaningful, real-world change.

I am deeply committed to strengthening families, supporting successful and lasting marriages, guiding teenagers toward healthy development, and contributing to safer, healthier communities. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of lasting growth. Above all, I genuinely love the work I do and consider it a privilege to walk alongside others in their journey toward healing and progress.

Education & Experience

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with advanced clinical training in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. I am the owner and Clinical Director of Sunset Counseling Services, LLC (www.sunsetcounseling.com), where I provide leadership in delivering high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care. My education and ongoing professional development include evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I serve as Chairperson of the NOJOS (Network on Juveniles Obtaining Safety), where I collaborate with professionals across the state to support best practices in assessment, treatment, and policy for adolescents with problematic sexual behaviors.
