About Me

I am a Latina EMDR therapist who uses compassion to guide my patients through healing areas in their lives where they are feeling stuck. My patients are often working through trauma, grief, or unhelpful beliefs about self, others, or the world that can manifest into anxiety, depression, conflicts in relationships, and/or PTSD. I also offer Individual and Group EMDR Consultations to clinicians looking to become Certified in EMDR Therapy. Se habla español.

My approach is nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, pro-immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I strive to create a space where your identity, background, and lived experiences are respected, and where you can explore difficult emotions without fear of being misunderstood or judged. While I primarily use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, I recognize that each person’s healing process is different. When helpful, I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, parts work, and Somatic Therapy to help you build safety, emotional regulation, and coping skills before beginning EMDR reprocessing. Together, we will tailor the process to your needs, readiness, and goals so the work feels supportive, collaborative, and empowering.
