Felisha Nicole Robinson, LMSW, CAADC
About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of Behavioral Health Clinic Based Services at a Federally Qualified Health Center in rural Michigan. I provide trauma-informed, integrated behavioral health services with a focus on helping individuals process and heal from complex trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. My work is grounded in a whole-person approach that values collaboration, cultural humility, and the connection between physical and emotional health. I am especially passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where clients can process deeply rooted experiences and move toward lasting change. I incorporate EMDR to help clients reprocess distressing memories, reduce symptoms, and build adaptive beliefs that support resilience and well-being.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Social Work and am licensed at the clinical level (LMSW-Clinical). My background includes extensive experience in outpatient therapy, integrated primary care settings, and behavioral health leadership. I have worked with diverse populations across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on adults experiencing complex trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and co-occurring mental health concerns. In addition to direct clinical work, I oversee behavioral health programming, clinical supervision structures, and service integration within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. My clinical approach integrates EMDR with evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of EMDRIA and actively engaged in advancing trauma-informed care within integrated healthcare settings. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical providers, case managers, and community partners to improve access to behavioral health services in rural communities. My professional involvement includes leadership in program development, clinical training, and workforce development initiatives aimed at strengthening behavioral health services. I am committed to ongoing professional development and the ethical practice of EMDR, and I value opportunities to contribute to the growth of accessible, high-quality mental health care.
