Penn State University- 1989 BS, Individual and Family Studies; Case Western Reserve University- 1996 MSSA; extensive training in trauma and attachment; LGBTQ issues; complex trauma; Certification as a Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist and completes sexual offender evaluations for Juvenile Probation; Assessment and treatment recommendations regarding Level of Care for adolescents with substance abuse issues; Experience in working in the Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and Community Mental Health systems, Inpatient child and adolescent mental health as a therapist; school based therapist; outpatient/private practice therapist; Conducts training to Juvenile Detention Staff regarding the Prison Rape Elimination Act and Suicide Prevention. Provision of outpatient treatment to individuals, youth and families that have a variety of mental health, trauma and attachment, and/or LGBTQ issues.
