About Me

I am an EMDRIA-certified therapist specializing in trauma-focused, nervous-system-informed work with adults. I help clients transform how their nervous systems hold past experiences so they can move forward with greater regulation, clarity, and freedom. EMDR is my primary modality, and my approach is integrative — incorporating the Flash Technique, IFS-informed parts work, and attachment-based principles to support safety, collaboration, and embodied healing. I’m also currently being trained in brainspotting and will be integrating it into my practice in early 2026. Many of the adults I work with are high-functioning professionals, caregivers, and helpers — including therapists, medical providers, and first responders — who have spent years supporting others and are now ready to turn that care inward. I also work with business owners and leaders navigating patterns that impact both personal fulfillment and professional effectiveness. My practice frequently supports men exploring how early relational experiences affect intimacy, self-worth, and direction, as well as women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I offer ongoing EMDR therapy through virtual individual sessions for clients in Maine and Massachusetts. I also provide extended virtual EMDR intensives (2 hours) for clients seeking deeper, concentrated work without travel. In-person EMDR intensives (3 hours) and customized multi-day in-person intensives are offered at my private office in downtown Portland, Maine for clients ready for immersive, accelerated healing. My practice is private pay. I provide superbills for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through out-of-network insurance benefits.
