About Me

I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant. In addition to EMDR, I am trained in IFS therapy, TF-CBT and somatic techniques. I hold a postgraduate certificate of Integrative Trauma Studies from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and a doctoral degree from NYU. Currently, I serve as an Adjunct Professor of Trauma at New York University. My area of speciality in my clinical practice is the healing of complex trauma through integrative techniques such as IFS informed EMDR. I recently published an article with the International Journal of Body Psychotherapy entitled 'Internal Family Systems Informed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: An Integrative Technique for Treatment of Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder', advocating for this approach. I have also authored the book, 'Healing Complex PTSD: A Clinician's Guide'.
