Glyn is a trauma-informed psychotherapist. Working with evidence-based models, his therapy approach primarily utilizes EMDR, IFS, and CBT Glyn has an array of professional experiences that spans over 20 years, working with a variety of populations with mental health issues. Mainly trauma, anxiety, depression, and addictions. His career also includes 10 years in a medium secure service specializing in forensic mental health. He has worked in a variety of mental health settings as a therapist (e.g. the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, private practice, and international residential rehabilitation centers), and has held various positions—including as a Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Lead throughout his career. Glyn has extensive knowledge and experience in working with individuals with trauma, specifically in the context of psychoeducation, individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy, and group facilitation. He has a passionate interest in trauma vis-a-vis Attachment Theory/Injuries, and how this manifest in anxiety, depression, addiction, and in thinking, feeling, and behavior — and how this can be helpful in therapeutic work to help clients maintain long-lasting change and meaningful relationships when working towards recovering the authentic self.
