About Me
I have been licensed as a psychologist in the state of Oregon since 2003. I provide individual and family therapy on a short- or long-term basis. My approach is relational, culturally informed, and strengths based. I draw on ideas from cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based approaches, motivational interviewing, systems/ecological models, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and trauma-informed care. I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Certified Therapist.
Education & Experience
I have a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a doctoral degree from the University of Oregon. I spent a number of years working with adolescents in a detention setting and with adolescents and adults in a substance use disorders treatment center. I have been in private practice for over 9 years.
