Education & Experience

Heather Lauren Davidson, Ed.M., M.A., LPC, CST is an individual and couples therapist who works in private practice in the Philadelphia area. Heather completed her Master of Arts and Master of Education in psychological counseling at Columbia University. She also completed The Council for Relationships Post-Graduate sex therapy program and is a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). In addition to AASECT, Heather is a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. Heather specializes in treating individuals and couples who are struggling with sexual health issues and traumatic experiences. Heather uses master conflict theory, EMDR therapy, CBT and mindfulness techniques in treatment.
