Heather Hifler, LPC
About Me
Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of past experiences while trying to manage the stress and uncertainty of everyday life. Trauma, anxiety, and depression can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly on edge. It can be exhausting to keep things together on the outside while struggling internally.
In therapy, I offer a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of your experiences. Together, we’ll work on building resilience and finding healthier, more sustainable ways of coping so you can move through life with more clarity and confidence. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and centered on helping you feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience across child welfare, community mental health, rehabilitation with incarcerated individuals, and integrated medical care settings. I h received my Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in trauma, abuse, and deprivation in 2016. I completed my EMDR training in 2025 and am in the process of becoming EMDR certified.
