About Me

Hi, I would like to share just a little about myself. I have been working as a therapist for many years. I believe I am able to zero in on the underlying causes of a person's difficulties, and to assist them with healing and rebuilding their foundation in an individualized way. I enjoy working around my property in my spare time, and I love all kinds of animals, especially dogs, horses, birds, and elephants.

Education & Experience

Master’s degree from CSU Long Beach, 2004. Over 30 years experience in the human service field working with a wide variety of populations and therapeutic modalities. Certified through EMDRIA in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Training in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Ego-State Therapy (EST). Supportive of all spiritual beliefs and of those who are atheist or agnostic. Supportive of issues related to senior citizens and gender identity. Specialty in healing past trauma, large or small, using EMDR therapy combined with EST, EFT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relaxation/Meditation and Sound Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Insight Therapy, and other therapeutic techniques to assist each person in sharing their story, healing emotional wounds, gaining strength and insight, and moving into a stronger and healthier place.
