About Me
I consider it a privilege to be able to develop trust with clients and walk with them on their life journey to create more wellness and fulfillment in their lives. I assist clients in developing insight into how their life experiences have impacted them, while cultivating inner resilience and wisdom and developing personalized coping skills to face daily challenges and goals. I continually seek opportunities for additional training and consultation to hone my skills and better serve my clients. I am always open to feedback from clients, so we can collaborate to ensure they are benefitting and growing from our work together. I am continually inspired by my clients' resilience and ability to heal.
Education & Experience
I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College. I have 12 years of experience in treating adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, addictions, and relationship issues. I utilize an integrative approach to healing, including techniques such as: EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Therapy.
