About Me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working in private practice. My areas of expertise include, child and adolescent populations, trauma recovery and LGBTQ+ youth. I currently provide individual and family therapy.
Education & Experience
I received a Masters in Social Work in 2000 at Walla Walla University and am a LICSW. I have worked in mental health for over 20 years in a variety of mental health settings primarily serving infant/toddlers, children and families. I have been an Assistant Professor of Social Work with Walla Walla University teaching in their graduate studies Social Work program for the last 7 years and am currently the MSW Program Coordinator. I have professional certifications in trauma recovery, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a 300 hour Trauma Center-Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator. I am trained in EMDR and am in the process of obtaining EMDR Certification.
