About Me

I specialize in working with adults who are navigating religious trauma, faith deconstruction, and the ripple effects those experiences leave behind, in your body, your relationships, and your sense of who you are.

Many of my clients come to me after realizing that the anxiety, the shame, the difficulty trusting their own instincts, or the tension they carry in their body traces back to what they were taught growing up in church. Some are actively leaving a faith community. Others left years ago and are only now connecting the dots between what they were raised to believe and how they move through the world now (the guilt that shows up when they set a boundary, the way their body tightens during intimacy, and constantly second-guessing themselves).

I use EMDR alongside somatic and body-based interventions because religious trauma doesn't just live in your thoughts. It shows up in your nervous system and your body. Talk therapy alone often can't reach it.

I work with what's happening in your body during session, not just what you're saying, so that we can get to the patterns that keep running even when you intellectually know better.

I also work with couples (using Emotionally Focused Therapy with somatic and trauma-informed interventions) and adults with chronic pain that medicine hasn't been able to fully explain. In my experience, these areas overlap more than you'd expect. Many of my clients are dealing with more than one of them at the same time.

I have personal experience with faith transition, chronic pain, and learning to trust my body again. That doesn't make me an expert in your story, but it does mean I understand the terrain.

I see clients throughout Washington State via telehealth.
