About Me
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Brooklyn, NY, offering telehealth therapy across New York and Ohio and in person in Greenpoint. My work is relational and trauma-informed at its core — I specialize in supporting perfectionists, people-pleasers, and overthinkers who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and live with more ease. I practice from an integrative framework, weaving together EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), ACT, somatic approaches, and psychodynamic thinking. I'm drawn to this work because I believe healing happens in relationship — with a therapist, with your own internal parts, and with your history. In addition to individual therapy, I offer a Wedding Therapy Intensive, a specialized container for people navigating the emotional complexity that major life transitions can surface — even (especially) joyful ones.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. My undergraduate background in anthropology informs the curiosity and cultural humility I bring to clinical work — I've always been interested in how people make meaning within their systems and contexts.
Before opening my private practice, I spent seven years as a school social worker and also worked in an inpatient hospital setting, giving me a broad clinical foundation across developmental stages and levels of care. These experiences deepened my commitment to trauma-informed, relational practice and ultimately led me toward the specialized work I do today.
I completed EMDR Basic Training and am currently pursuing EMDRIA Certification. My advanced consultation work is attachment- and IFS-focused, and I am an active member of an EMDR consultation cohort. I have also completed IFS foundational training through IFSCA (Stepping Stones).
