About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist offering in-person and online therapy in Oakville, Ontario.
I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back and nods. I’m expressive, sometimes irreverent, and I usually get clients to smile within the first two minutes (it’s a bit of a trademark). I show up emotionally, on purpose—using warmth, humour, and intentional presence to make the therapy space feel human and real. I ask questions that help you understand what’s been running the show behind the scenes: the protective logic of perfectionism, the roots of self-doubt, and the parts of you that have been doing the heavy lifting alone.
One of the moments I treasure most is when a client realizes their inner critic—harsh as it is—was just trying to keep them safe. That moment of compassion changes everything. You don’t have to get rid of who you are to heal. You just need to turn toward those parts of you with curiosity instead of fear.
Therapy with me is a space where you’ll be challenged and supported, where your pain is taken seriously, and where your growth is always the goal.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and EMDR, but compassion is the thread that ties it all together. I’m also trained in DBT, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, and other integrative methods that allow me to tailor therapy to your needs. Since 2012, I’ve worked with clients across the Dominican Republic, the UK, and Canada—in private practice and university settings.
