About Me

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Masters’ Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. I am also an LPC Supervisor for LPC Candidates.

Education & Experience

I work with children (starting at age 4), teenagers, and adults. I provide individual and family psychotherapy session and treatment. I have experience with substance abuse counseling, trauma (several types), domestic abuse, marriage and family issues and mood disorder (ex: anxiety/depression) counseling. No matter what you are going through, we have the tools to help you restore your mind and heart. Therapy with At Peace Mental Health strives for you to be at peace. My theoretical approach to therapy is EMDR, Play Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis of Gestalt Therapy. CBT helps me treat your problems while boosting happiness by modifying ineffective emotions, behaviors and thoughts. Gestalt therapy heightens your insight and self-awareness through figuring out your relation to the world around you. Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) uses bilateral stimulation to help clients in process Trauma and other negative beliefs they hold about themselves.
