About Me

I specialize in women with trauma and anxiety wanting to take a holistic approach to healing- integrating EMDR, somatic therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and reiki energy healing into therapy. Using a mind-body-spirit approach to trauma recovery, I focus on you as a whole person rather than your individual symptoms. Together we can release trauma and stuck emotions, regulate your nervous systems, and achieve emotional balance. With certifications as an EMDR therapist (EMDRIA), health coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition), yoga therapist (International Association of Yoga Therapists), and reiki master (Wellgood Works), I bring a unique blend of evidence-based and integrative practices to my work. Through holistic virtual therapy, I empower women to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives.

Education & Experience

I earned my Master of Social Work in 2011, providing the foundation for my journey as a therapist. Following my degree, I pursued a one-year health coaching program and a two-year advanced yoga teacher training, becoming a certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) after completing over 1,000 hours of training. My path also led me to explore Reiki energy healing, where years of practice culminated in becoming a Reiki master. These experiences deepened my understanding of the spiritual and intuitive dimensions of healing. In 2020, I transitioned from medical social work to private practice, founding Jaclyn Sappah Therapy, which evolved into Wildflower Therapy Group. My work as a yoga therapist, Reiki master, and health coach informs my holistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy. By drawing on these healing modalities, I help clients develop skills to activate their body’s relaxation response and regulate their nervous system, fostering balance and resilience.
