About Me
I am a passionate, goal-oriented counselor who walks the healing journey with clients. I believe in a wellness/holistic approach when working with people and that our feelings and behaviors are strongly affected by our thoughts. I also believe our past affects our lens of the world and utilize EMDR to assist with moving through intrusive thoughts/memories/experiences.
Education & Experience
I earned my BA from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Psychology and my MS from The University of North Texas in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), a certified EMDR clinician, a Board Certified TeleMental Health Professional (BC-TMH), and a National Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician (NERPSCC). I have worked in a variety of setting, including substance abuse facilities, inpatient, PHP/IOP, and outpatient facilities.
