About Me
I am passionate about creating a safe relationship for clients to share their stories. I enjoy assisting clients in developing coping strategies to manage symptoms and develop distress tolerance. I specialize in working with women that struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, attachment and relationship issues. I have a special interest in working with perinatal clients, new mothers and mothers of young children.
I graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a BS in Child and Family Studies. I completed my MSEd in Clinical Counseling from The University of Dayton in 2011. I am EMDR Certified through EMDRIA and Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
Research supports that the therapeutic relationship is the biggest indicator of change in therapy. I strive to attune to the needs of my clients in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
