About Me
Hello, I am trauma-focused Mental Health Therapist and LCSW. Both professional and personal experiences have brought me to the field of trauma work. I find this work exceptionally fulfilling and it is an honor to accompany clients on the path to healing. Currently I work with individual adults representing an array of identities and identity intersections, who are primarily focused on trauma healing/work. In the past I have worked with adults and youth experiencing houselessness, immigrant and refugee youth and families in crisis.
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, then went on the earn my Master's Degree in Social Work a Highland's University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Volunteering (in any context) is an important part of the protective web of community, in my experience. For years I have fostered rescue dogs, most recently I have made a weekly ritual of volunteering at a local pop-up food pantry. Both of these activities proved to be important pieces of maintaining connection and meaning during Covid.
