About Me
My work as a therapist began in California where I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology and worked intensively in community mental health since 2010, helping individuals overcome chronic and debilitating mental health issues. I have been trained in extensively researched therapeutic models that help clients gain powerful insight about their internal world. I also guide my clients to gain effective tools based on some of these models that can empower them to move from reacting to responding to their emotions and thereby manage difficult stressors in their lives in a more healthy manner. While my style has been described as warm and empathetic, I’m not shy about gently challenging my clients to go deeper by asking questions that can help get to the root of their struggles.
