I primarily work with people from a trauma-focused lens. I engage in ongoing training in updated modalities for evidence-based therapy treatments. I do not believe that this is a static field - there is always a learning curve that improves helping clients and complimentary modalities can be integrated.
Education & Experience
Fordham University Masters in Social Work. I am clinically licensed in FL, NY, and CT and engage in Telehealth treatment for all 3 states and provide in-office visits in Naples, FL.. I am EMDR certified (advanced level beyond EMDR training), Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, certified from the VA, Integrative Trauma Treatment certification from National Institute for Psychotherapies in NYC. Worked in NIP Trauma Clinic. 4+ years in a psychiatric hospital to gain diagnostic and assessment experience and learn crisis mgt, Fellow at NIP trauma clinic, NYC. Overview training in Internal Family Systems. Psychoanalytic training at Westchester Institute for Psychoanalysis.
