Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Janelle is the Critical Incident Support Specialist for Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, providing support to members following critical incidents as well as trauma processing. She is a member of the Tennessee Disaster and Mental Health Strike Team, responding to critical community incidents in Chattanooga and surrounding areas. She is a founding member of the First Responder Suicide Task Force and hold the position of Co-Chair of the training division. She holds an adjunct faculty position for Mental Health Nursing at Cleveland State Community College in the Associate’s Nursing Program. She is a member of the The First Responder Suicide Task Force and is affiliated with the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance and Blue H.E.L.P.org.
