About Me
Dr. Savia earned Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Regent University; a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. Her clinical experiences include working with adults in NC, VA, and CA; in hospitals and in private practice; in the VA system and in federal prisons.
Education & Experience
Her clinical interests include issues surrounding: depression and anxiety; reproductive mental health; medical illness; aging; loss and grief; responses to trauma; and suicide. She works closely with men and women in health care, fire and emergency medical services, and the clergy to address the unique stresses associated with these professions.
