Janna Carroll McMasters, MA, LPC
About Me
I never thought I would be working with trauma survivors, but it has ended up being the population I love serving the most! I love working with individuals who have experienced major hurts in their lives and helping them understand how to grow through those things to be a fully integrated, whole self. I come from a Christian perspective, but I integrate faith and spirituality as each client needs/desires.
Education & Experience
I graduated with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I worked at a private counseling practice specializing in trauma in Monroe, LA for 2 years and then I moved to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home to work at the Granberry Counseling Center as a full time therapist from 2021-2023. I now own my own private practice and I predominantly do trauma therapy with adults and teens dealing with abuse and sexual assault from childhood onward, attachment trauma, dissociation, anxiety, PTSD and more.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a TBRI Practitioner and a member of AACC and EMDRIA.
