About Me

Easygoing by nature, outdoorsy by choice. I find my bliss in the woods with a heavy pack, or in the workshop with a light wrench. I’m passionate about passing on skills that help others, knowing full well it keeps me growing, too. Essentially, I’m just a guy keeping old bikes—and my own skills—rolling smoothly.

Education & Experience

I have dedicated 20 years to the mental health field, with experience in prisoner re-entry programs, specially jail diversion initiatives, services for individuals and groups on the psychosis spectrum, housing initiatives, service as a board member for the VHA, and private practice. I earned my MSW in 2019 and have since completed EMDR training. I practice individual, as well as group EMDR therapy with clients from diverse backgrounds, and I am continually moved by its effectiveness.

When I work with you, I see you as my partner in your recovery. My primary goal is to support your well-being, meeting you where you are in the process. I focus on treating the individual, not the diagnosis.
I consider it a privilege when individuals choose me as their therapist. Trusting someone with your personal journey is meaningful, and I am committed to honoring that trust throughout our work together.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I currently volunteer at our local Free Clinics as mental health therapist and EMDR practitioner.
