About Me

I am a Korean-American, cisgender female, mother of 3 bi-racial children. Though I have a Master's Degree in Social Work (from California State University San Marcos) it's my experiences in the field both in community health and community organizing which have deeply informed my work. The enrichment of my work has come from my wide ranging life experiences. I was born in Seoul and grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA and attended NYU School of Social Work. While living in New York City and New Jersey I traveled across the U.S. as a live musician, creating relationships and experiences with people from all walks of life. From there I spent 6 years living in El Salvador where I birthed my children. Through these life experiences I was able to explore my own privileges and emotional wounds. Through my studies I've learned to apply evidence based treatments to healing both my own traumas as well as those of hundreds of clients. My journey has brought me to understand that you are the expert in your own life. I am here to provide the space to explore your self, share skills I have learned, and guide you in your healing.
