About Me
Hi, my name is Jenée. I’m a therapist who works with adult and TAY (18-25 years old) age populations. I have specialized training as well as both personal and professional experience with supporting first responders and military personnel. I work with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, co-occurring/dual diagnosis, chemical dependency and trauma/complex trauma including adverse/traumatic religious experiences. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, are able to express your authentic self, and are able to take time to process your experiences. My hope is to assist my clients in identifying their values while helping them to move toward said values in the midst of their personal experiences. I am trained in multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care. My passion is helping my clients to identify and verbalize their experiences as they are, without invaliding their own responses, judging themselves, or participating in comparative suffering.
