About Me

Jenelle is a Certified EMDR Therapist and is an Advanced student of Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy. She passionately combines these two beautiful modalities to gently guide you through a very rewarding, deep and life enriching journey! Jenelle is passionate about working with children ages 8 and up, teens, adults and seniors. She owns a private practice in beautiful Kelowna BC and offers both in person and online sessions. When Jenelle is not in her amazing office on Tutt Street, you will find her enjoying the Okanagan life style with her Family, belly dancing, kayaking, hiking and teaching Reiki classes and iRest - Yoga Nidra in the Okanagan.

Education & Experience

Jenelle holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Social Work degree from University of Regina and a Bachelor of Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. She is a Registered Social Worker in the province of British Columbia. Jenelle has worked within the field of Social work for over 15 years in numerous different settings and capacities such as: Correctional Services of Canada, Social Services, Family and Child Services, Luther Senior Center, Family Sevices, Catholic Family Services, Mental Health and Addictions, Egadz Youth My Homes, Central Okanagan Hospice Association, and NOW (New Opportunities for Women) Canada.
