About Me
I am a licensed professional counselor, licensed in the state of Virginia. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and have 2 beautiful daughters. I love to travel to experience new cultures. When I am not doing counseling work, I volunteer in the community or spend my free time enjoying drumming or playing pickleball.
Education & Experience
I am a licensed professional counselor in Virginia and holds a national board certification as a counselor. Jenine is a board approved supervisor in Virginia. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have experience with various mental health and adjustment issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, relationships, and grief and loss. I have worked with various populations from diverse backgrounds in community mental health to include children, adolescents, adults and families. I take a holistic and person-centered approach in developing a treatment plan that can be integrated into the client’s daily life to help makes changes that are meaningful to them. I provide evidence-based treatment to include, IFS, hypnotherapy, Somatic techniques, Mindfulness techniques and to individuals to diminish stressors, identify motivations, improve functioning, and build support systems.

I have the dedication and passion for helping others and dedicated my life’s work to this cause. I am able to connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships which has resulted in receiving community recognition by non-profit organizations for her volunteer work in the community. I am affiliated with African-American Sorority and give my time to the community with this organization.
