Education & Experience

I am a licensed professional counselor in Virginia and holds a national board certification as a counselor. Jenine is a board approved supervisor in Virginia. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have experience with various mental health and adjustment issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, relationships, and grief and loss. I have worked with various populations from diverse backgrounds in community mental health to include children, adolescents, adults and families. I take a holistic and person-centered approach in developing a treatment plan that can be integrated into the client’s daily life to help makes changes that are meaningful to them. I provide evidence-based treatment to include, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness techniques, EMDR, and strengths-based therapy, to individuals to diminish stressors, identify motivations, improve functioning, and build support systems.
