About Me

For the past 20 years, I have worked with individuals and their families, children and adults, doing in-home, outpatient, and residential treatment as a therapist, manager, and clinical supervisor. I am a certified EMDR therapist and consultant and use this modality in my practice and as a tool for consultation and supervision. In my work, I have discovered the power that stressful and traumatic events can have on people. Our experiences and our interpretation of those experiences create our views and influence our interaction with the world around us. Overwhelming experiences can influence us in positive ways and sometimes it is problematic. We can begin to experience difficulties like anxiety, depression, physical symptoms, stress reactions or emotional intolerances that impact our daily lives. I aim to support people to become aware of patterns that are driven by influences and beliefs. I believe by doing so we have more possibility of getting closer to living the life we desire.
