Education & Experience

I am licensed in Montana as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 2003, licensed in Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2016, and credentialed as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors since 2004. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Gonzaga University in 2001. My therapeutic approach tends to be eclectic with a preference towards using EMDR and CBT, as well as utilization of sand play, art therapy, TF-CBT, CPT, and DBT. I have practiced counseling for over 15 years in various settings including residential, school-based (CSCT) services, outpatient care, and private practice.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I have been a member of the American Counseling Association since 1998, a clinical member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors Association since 2015, and a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation as well as Postpartum Support International since 2016. I also was an active mental health disaster relief volunteer for the American Red Cross from 2005 to 2007.
