About Me
Hi! I am currently unable to accept new clients. I will update this when I have new availability. My areas of expertise include helping adults (ages 18+) who are seeking therapy for: college/graduate mental health, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress management, support with making health behavior changes, and/or living with chronic illness (e.g. Lyme, CFS, IBS, Fibromyalgia). Using an evidence-based, integrative approach to psychotherapy, I utilize skills-focused therapies (such as CBT and DBT) combined with a strong Psychodynamic (insight-oriented) framework. I am also trained in EMDR, which is a helpful tool for processing traumatic memories. As a Health Psychologist, I use the “biopsychosocial model”, a perspective on human wellness that views the mind and body as being connected. My sessions often incorporate attention to this connection via introducing mindfulness and relaxation-based strategies and/or supporting your health goals around improving sleep, nutrition, or physical activity habits. Psychotherapy is a collaborative, goal-oriented process of talking and experiencing emotions in a safe, affirming space. My therapy style is warm, genuine, and solution-focused. Using empathy and expert knowledge, I will guide you through exploring your concerns and vulnerabilities and help you to cultivate self-compassion and stronger coping abilities.
