About Me
I believe that every person has the capacity to transform past traumatic experiences, create healthy and loving connections with others, and live a life full of purpose. My passion is guiding and supporting individuals of all ages to work through trauma and other life challenges within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. I utilize an individualized and trauma informed approach that can include: EMDR, Expressive Therapies, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, talk therapy, and other modalities. I am licensed to provide clinical services in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. I am a Maryland and Virginia board approved supervisor and EMDR Consultant In Training, providing clincial supervision and EMDR consultation to EMDR trained consultees.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, DC, and Virginia with 25 years experience working with children, teens, adults, & families in a wide variety of settings across the treatment continuum (DSS/CPS, adoption, therapeutic foster care, acute psychiatric inpatient hospital units and a residential treatment center). I currently serve as a Psychotherapist with the Gil Institute for Trauma Recovery & Education, an outpatient group private practice setting providing trauma focused therapies to individuals of all ages.
