About Me

In my practice I serve public safety professionals, first responders, and military servicemembers/veterans, their families, and retirees. I have extensive firsthand personal and professional experience living and treating the potential impacts of life in public safety. I am integrative in my approach as is consistent with the AIP model to treat the impacts of developmental and operational trauma, stress injuries, anxiety, depression, and relationship injuries.
I have a special place in my heart for providing care taking a non-pathologizing approach to the impacts of moral distress and injury in the experience of public safety and military service professionals and combine adaptive disclosure/trauma-informed guilt reduction work with ego state work, existential, and ACT to formulate and enhance adaptive networks for EMDR reprocessing. I believe in the power of incorporating animals into psychotherapy and healing when done ethically and am currently completing post-graduate certificate coursework to ethically incorporate animal assisted interventions and the human-animal bond into my work.
