About Me

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I'm deeply committed to helping you break down the barriers that trouble you, and to live a brighter, more fulfilling life. As a mental health therapist, the mission of my therapeutic approach is to empower you in your journey for mental wellness. Many people seek therapy when they feel stuck with a mental health problem, such as depression, anxiety, unwanted relationship patterns, suicidal ideation, or difficulty recovering from a painful experience. Others may be struggling to cope with external sources of stress, like abuse or trauma. I will support you with a safe space that provides compassion, honesty, without judgment, practical support, and clear communication of my observations in our time together. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I utilize a humanistic, client centered, and strengths based approach in working with adults, children, and families; while interweaving various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, play therapy, and art therapy.
