About Me

Dr. Vasquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Supervisor (LCSW-S), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), EMDR Trained Clinician, International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT-C) Certified Yoga Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with a specialization in trauma. She teaches full time at Texas State University School of Social Work. Dr. Vasquez’ research focuses on trauma and addiction.

Education & Experience

Dr. Vasquez holds a PhD in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and a MSW from Dominican University in Chicago. She draws upon over 15 years of practice experience from the fields of trauma, interpersonal violence, addiction, and healthcare in her work.
