About Me
Life, at any age, can sometimes feel like too much. Anxiety, pain, loss-it’s all a part of being human. Life is tough, and it’s okay to seek help. We all yearn for someone who “gets” us, without judgment and with joy. I specialize in EMDR therapy. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR taps into your innate resilience. This is not a metaphor; it's a literal, 30-year-old, proven therapy that guides us to grow your strengths and reprocess your distress, increasing your sense of well-being. How I work with you is informed by my experiences as a teacher, researcher, Director at a non-profit, and parent. I trained in EMDR in 2017, hold certification as an ASD Clinical Specialist, and actively work to do Anti-Oppressive practice and living. Whether you’re a teen or adult, seeking weekly sessions, or a shorter, more intensive approach, our therapy will be designed around your personal goals and the time that you have. Change takes courage. Take the first step towards a healthier future. Despite struggle, life is worth living. Your life matters, and I’m here to walk with you for a while. For You: Weekly appointments and EMDR intensives during premium evening and weekend hours in the comfort of your own space, via telehealth, for people aged 12 and older, in New York state.
