Dr. Jessica Mastrangelo, PhD, LMHC

(she/her)
Preferred Name: Jessie

About Me

I work with reflective, high-achieving adults whose past still shapes the present. Many of my clients already understand where their patterns come from and still feel the reaction fire before they can choose differently. EMDR works where that reaction is stored, so it can settle.

You don't need a single dramatic event to benefit. Much of my work is with quieter, repeated experiences: approval that had to be earned, a household where you kept the peace, years of being the capable one. I integrate EMDR with parts work and depth-oriented therapy, and we build steadiness first so the work moves at a pace you can tolerate.

Education & Experience

I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Boston University, and an MBA. I see clients in person at 226 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington, MA and by telehealth across Massachusetts and Washington. My practice is private pay, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
