About Me
Life can be challenging, overwhelming and stressful. As your therapist, I am passionate about supporting you along the way. I know it can be hard reaching out, and I am here to meet you where you are in your journey. I understand the importance of building a therapeutic relationship and aim to create a safe, validating and non-judgmental space. I believe everyone has the potential to heal and the resiliency to bounce back from trauma. I have experience with an array of psychosocial and mental health challenges including mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma and addictions. I have training in evidenced based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy.
Education & Experience
In addition to offering individual therapy, I am also a CIT (consultant in training) and offer consultation for EMDR therapists. I am committed to my own ongoing professional and personal growth. I continuously challenge myself to enhance my skills and knowledge, ensuring I can support you using EMDR safely and effectively.
