About Me
I am a relational and supportive therapist who specializes in working with individuals impacted by trauma. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. This includes consideration of a client's culture and how a client/family can bring in cultural elements to support their healing. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
I view my role as helping clients process and make sense of difficult experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of safety and agency in their lives. When appropriate, I also help clients learn specific strategies and coping skills to manage difficult emotions. I meet clients where they are and work alongside them to develop achievable, personalized therapeutic goals at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of their nervous system.
I frequently utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as integrating somatic approaches and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support deeper healing and mind-body awareness.
I have extensive experience working with trauma, however, I additionally work with depression, anxiety, attachment issues, self-harm, adjustment related concerns, self-esteem, parent/child conflict, and adolescent identity development. I also provide parent consultation and guidance for a variety of concerns.
I particularly enjoy working with individuals with complex or developmental trauma, as well as those looking for a more holistic approach to therapy.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults.
