Jill Catherine Dziko, LICSW

About Me

I have been working in the field of adoption for over 20 years and have been involved in 100s of adoptions as a therapist, homestudy provider, consultant, post-placement provider and as someone who has helped families to find their adoption match. Prior to working in the adoption field I co-founded a non-profit to provide STEM education to children of color. I also worked for a community based mental health provider as a therapist for developmentally disabled and mentally ill adults and then as a school based therapist.

Education & Experience

I have a Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington, am a licensed clinical social worker in Washington State (#LW 00004519) and I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Washington Society of Certified Social Workers as well as the Clinical Social Work Association. I have completed Post-graduate Certificates in Therapy with Adoptive and Foster Families and Attachment-Trauma focused Therapy and am also a Foundational Theraplay Practitioner as well as EMDR trained (working toward certification).
