About Me
Since 2010, I have worked extensively with those who are feeling "stuck" in the cycle of poor self-perceptions, dysfunctional patterns in relationships, self-sabotaging behaviors, and cultural identity challenges. Evidently, I have observed that most of these issues are attributable to unresolved, emotionally impactful (or traumatic) childhood and family experiences. My passion for EMDR has grown upon seeing how effective it has been in providing the relief and healing experience that many of my clients had desired in order to move forward in their lives. Previously, I provided EMDR in-person only; however, my practice is currently built on providing EMDR therapy via telehealth 95% of the time. Apart from those who are not appropriate for teletherapy, it has been a positive experience for many of my clients, as there are some unparalleled benefits such as reducing commute time and conducting therapy from the comfort of their own home. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety and childhood/family trauma. Additionally, I have training in CBT, DBT and am also adept in working with addiction-related issues as a licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor. I am based in Nevada, and hold cross-state licensure in California. I provide EMDR therapy via telehealth only. Fee: For Nevada & California - Aetna and Optum is accepted (as of 7/10/2024). Sessions beyond 60 minutes are self-pay.
