About Me

I am a licensed mental health counselor trained in EMDR, seeing clients for in-person and telehealth appointments in New Hampshire and telehealth appointments in Vermont. I enjoy working collaboratively and creatively with teens and adults, using EMDR, interwoven with mindfulness, expressive arts, and an awareness of the body and mind connection. My approach is warm and accepting and I strive to assist clients in increasing self-understanding, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. I am passionate about supporting and empowering those I work with in developing the skills needed to improve their lives. I am now offering EMDR Intensives. During a typical 50 minute EMDR therapy session, time is focused on discussing thoughts and emotions that may have arisen between sessions followed by grounding and stabilizing. This usually leaves about 30 minutes for reprocessing, and while this may work well for many, there are advantages to extended EMDR Intensive sessions. These sessions are typically between 3 and 6 hours, over several days in close succession, offering the benefit of accelerated healing. They can be a great alternative for those whose schedules don't allow for time off to attend weekly sessions. And while Intensives have a larger cost upfront the shorter duration of treatment can result in money saved. I offer optional Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Mindful Self-compassion, and Soulcollage integrated into the sessions.

Education & Experience

I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a post-masters certificate in addiction counseling from Antioch University New England. I am currently working toward certification in EMDR. I am a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator and SoulCollage® Facilitator.
