About Me

The shortest version about my perspective on counseling is essentially this: The truth will set you free, but it’s not supposed to send you into a tailspin of perfectionism, self-blame, shame and anxiety. It’s my privilege to join you in the process of becoming free of harsh, critical, negative beliefs and misconceptions about yourself that actually served you at some point in your life. You have the answers within you. My approach is one of assisting you in unlocking the strengths you possess and sorting through what is no longer needed.

Education & Experience

I entered private practice as of September, 2020 after 19 years with Meier Clinics Foundation where I served as Director of the Pennsylvania region for the past 13 of those years. Prior to this time, while raising small children, I held a part-time position as adjunct faculty at Montgomery College, Rockville, MD. Education: The Catholic University of America, MA, Counseling 1984 St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN BA Psychology, 1981
